To find out how much the p&p is for your order, you can click on the 'calculate shipping' button below your cart on the left column. If you are not happy with the shipping cost, you need not proceed with submitting your order. However, we do not make any profit on our carriage charges, and indeed we subsidise the charge on many items. Unfortunately shipping is an unavoidable charge but we are sure that you will be happy with your goods when they arrive.
DELIVERY TO UK MAINLAND ADDRESSES; We ship using mainly a weight-based calculation, totalling the weight of the items that you put into your basket. Items up to 1.5kg are normally sent using first class mail.
Some items including furniture may be sent via courier, using a flat fee delivery charge rather than a weight based calculation. If a flat fee delivery charge is levied on a heavy item, this is shown clearly on the product information page.
You will normally be sent an email confirmation of dispatch to the email address you provide, so that you know when to expect your goods, as all services normally require a signature on delivery. Please enter your email address carefully, as we will use this to contact you. Please provide a daytime telephone number and a mobile number for the delivery address.
*For customers with AOL email accounts, our emails to you may be blocked by your service provider. You can access your orders information on-line at any time using the email address and password you used when registering with us.
DELIVERY OUTSIDE OF UK MAINLAND; For items delivered to addresses outside of the UK mainland, please note that guaranteed next day delivery is not available. We ship most of our items worldwide, but items which weigh more than 2kg will be costly to ship. If your basket contains items totalling more than 2kg in all, you might find it more cost effective to split your required goods into several different orders.
It is the customer's responsibility to check condition of the packaging, and if possible the goods, before releasing the delivery driver with your signature. If you cannot do this, please clearly write 'UNCHECKED' next to your signature. (If the item is being sent as a gift, please inform the recipient of their obligation) In the unlikely event of damage having occurred during transit, please telephone us immediately on (01531) 650974. We will then arrange to accept the goods back, and refund your carriage costs for the return. We will offer you a replacement or refund.
If you are unhappy with your goods for any reason, we will be happy to provide a replacement or refund. (Personalised and made-to-order items cannot be returned.) Please call us on (01531) 650974 for a returns number, as we cannot accept items without this. Items must be returned to us within seven days, unused and in their original packaging, with your returns number clearly written on the package. You are strongly advised to send back items using a recorded delivery service to prevent uninsured loss. We regret that we cannot refund the original carriage costs. PLEASE NOTE THAT AS WE OFFER A SEVEN DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE (ON UNPERSONALISED AND STOCK ITEMS ONLY), UNWANTED CHRISTMAS PRESENTS MUST BE RETURNED BY 2ND JANUARY. PLEASE EMAIL US FOR A RETURNS NUMBER PRIOR TO SENDING ANYTHING BACK. PERSONALISED AND MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
ITEMS RECEIVED AS GIFTS; If you need to return an unwanted gift (excepting personalised and made to order items which are non-returnable) we will either need to have the payment details of the purchaser for a refund, or if you would rather they were not aware of the return, we can offer you a credit voucher to the value of the goods. There is no time limit on use of the credit voucher. We will accept back new, unused items in their original packaging provided that they are in saleable condition, and you will need to notify us of your intention to return the item within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Please contact us for a returns number prior to sending the item back.
Cancellation of your order; Under distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to seven days after receipt of the goods. This legislation does not apply to personalised or made to order items, and items which have been assembled after delivery. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us by email in the first instance. Cancelled items should be returned following the procedures above. If the item has already been dispatched your refund will be for the purchase price only, and you are responsible for return carriage costs.
